...experience. my survey As a follow-up, about 4 months after switching my Z to synth, I took it in for service and Coz (when he still worked in Chicago) asked if I used synth oil. I said yes, to which he replied, "I knew it! Did you know you're leaking a lot of oil at the rear main seal?" There were indeed some drops of oil in the garage where there had never been before. The oil leaked fixed itself after a year and a half. Story 2: 5 months ago, I was out of the crappy oil I put into the lawn mower. What the heck, I gotta mow today, so I use my fancy Mobil 1 in the lawn mower. Worked fine, but within 1 week, the mower had dumped a frightening amount of wet sticky oil on the clean garage floor! That was quick!
